Video description:
Primary health care is concerned with people rather than specific diseases or conditions. Achieving multi sectoral policy and action to comprehensively address social, economic, environmental, and commercial determinants of health, as well as primary care and key public health functions at the heart of integrated health services, are all components of good primary health care. The majority of a person's health needs can be met through primary health care throughout their life. We can achieve more if we build on a solid foundation of primary health care.

				<a href="https://getaprofessor.com/members/christinegubatayao/">Christine C. Gubatayao</a> posted an update 2. Philippine Health System

Video Description:
A documentary from http://www.biermann-jung.com for the Visayas Primary Health Care Services (VPHCS) which is a community-based health program at the Philippines - http://www.vphcs.org.

Overall, the Philippines' healthcare system is of high quality. Although the facilities may not be as stunning as those seen in high-end US or European hospitals, the Filipino medical personnel are well qualified. While the entire quality of public healthcare in the Philippines is good, healthcare in rural areas is much worse than in large city hospitals. Private healthcare in the Philippines is more consistent, and the facilities are generally better equipped than public ones.
