Muscle tissue is a type of specialized tissue found in animals that functions by contracting and applying forces to various parts of the body. Muscle tissue works as a unified unit and is frequently linked to the same nerve bundles. Muscle tissue is classified into three types:

+Skeletal muscle tissue is a type of striated muscle, which means that under a microscope, clear bands can be seen.
+ Cardiac muscle tissue has striations that are complex and branching.
+ Smooth muscle tissue is devoid of striations.
