Histology Art (MT 30 – I) 2022 3 years, 9 months ago Nervous tissue is in charge of coordinating and controlling a variety of bodily functions. It promotes muscle contraction, raises environmental awareness, and is involved in emotions, memory, and thinking. Neurons or nerve cells are nerve cells that create and conduct impulses. The characteristics of three separate nerve tissues are depicted in the diagram below, which enable us to navigate through our daily lives.
