Medical Histology Art – MT 30 Lab C (2022) 4 years ago The respiratory system’s primary function is to deliver oxygen to the cells of the body’s tissues and remove carbon dioxide, a cell waste product. The nasal cavity, trachea, and lungs are the three main structures of the human respiratory system. The respiratory system has four major histological layers: respiratory mucosa, which includes epithelium and supporting lamina propria, submucosa, cartilage and/or muscular layer, and adventitia. First, I drew microscopic photos of elastic cartilage, ciliated pseudostratified columnar epithelium in the lungs (respiratory epithelium), and simple squamous epithelium in the air sacs on a piece of paper for this histology art. The drawings were then digitally recovered, colored, and transformed using digital tools. Finally, I created the histology art in Canva. This is my histology art about the respiratory system body tissues. I hope you like it!
