Hello guys! I found an article that I find interesting, entitled “Physiological significance of ghrelin in the cardiovascular system”. This study talks about how the growth hormone Ghrelin can be beneficial in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Ghrelin is a growth hormone-releasing peptide that regulates energy balance and body weight maintenance. According to the study, ghrelin improves cardiac function and remodelling. Although the effects of ghrelin on the cardiovascular system have not yet been fully elucidated. Still, this hormone serves as a therapeutic agent for cardiac diseases.
