MT 30 LAB – H 4 years, 4 months ago The ureter is a tube that transports urine from the kidney to the bladder. There are two ureters, one for each kidney. The upper half of the ureter is found in the abdomen, while the lower half is found in the pelvis. The ureter walls’ muscles contract and relax constantly, pushing urine downhill and away from the kidneys.According to a study by Philip et al., they found out that adipose tissue is frequently present in the lamina propria and muscularis propria of the urinary bladder wall, and that it is usually scarce in the former but abundant in the latter.
The urinary bladder is a hollow organ in the lower abdomen that holds urine. The kidneys filter waste from the blood and produce urine, which flows into the bladder via two tubes known as ureters. Urine exits the bladder via another tube called the urethra.
