While inside the hospital, you have different nurses and doctors to evaluate and manage the patient’s overall health conditions. But there are what we call “investigators” that operate behind the scenes in the medical field. These are your medical laboratory scientist and technologist.

Jodi responded by saying that she considers her job to be enjoyable and varied, with several possibilities to learn and “affect someone’s life.” Furthermore, Jodi added that aside from getting to know various tests, one must be quick and accurate not to delay any of the results.

Seeing a medical laboratory technologist in action makes one realize the value they give to the medical institution. Although they work unnoticed, their duties are still critical because laboratory tests won’t be conducted, data is not generated, and quality management is not carried out.
