MT 30 LAB – H 3 years, 6 months ago Urinary System Body TissuesUreter. The inner mucosa, middle muscle layer, and outside serosa are the three primary tissues that make up the ureteric wall. Transitional epithelium is the inner layer’s lining. The mucosal lining is made up of the lamina propria, which is deeper than the epithelium.
Urinary Bladder. The epithelium covering the lumen of the urinary bladder is bordered by a collagen-rich connective tissue and muscle layer. The epithelium layer acts as a barrier, preventing urine from entering the bodily cavity.
Kidney. A collagen-rich connective tissue and muscle layer surrounds the epithelium that covers the lumen of the urine bladder. The epithelial layer serves as a barrier to keep urine out of the body cavity.
