    • Our society contains, is made up off, and works in systems. The system management theory believes a system can be a set of things, elements, parts, or components organized and brought together for a common purpose, goal, or objective. Since a system functions as a whole, if an element fails, the system changes, and its functionality is impaired. The theory emphasizes that everything is part of a system, and multiple units should work harmoniously for a more significant system to function optimally. Systems make it easier for organizations to produce similar services around the world, like the case of fast-food chains sharing an almost identical system to replicate the same service and products created. I specifically chose systems management theory because I think assessing the overall effectiveness of a system in an organization rather than sub-systems would make an organization’s progress more organized, synergic, and holistic. The decisions and actions would consider the whole organization rather than a specific area and would be suitable for a newly established organization. Using this theory, we would find a holistic viewpoint and expand our insights on the whole situation rather than looking narrowly at a problem. It would help us build an organization focused on cumulative success and functionality, which would be best for a new organization.
