Both B. F. Skinner and Albert Bandura believed that an individual’s actions are the direct product of their prior experiences (Corey, 2009). Bandura believed that humans are goal-oriented and have particular objectives and purposes and he thought that observing others is the foundation of learning, whereas Skinner argued that external forces dominate people.
