    • The idea of social learning came about in the late 1800s. Researchers say that Bandura used the social learning theory for the first time to explain how people learn. Bandura changed the name of the theory to Social Cognitive Theory in 1983. Bandura’s theory was also different from that of the behaviorists because he didn’t think the environment affected the theory. Bandura did a lot of studies over the years, but the ones with young children and Bobo dolls were the most well-known. Bandura showed that his theory was vital in modeling and learning from what you see. Many psychologists use the social cognitive theory today based on Bandura’s observations.
Access to communication, how people are connected worldwide, and the fast growth of the cyber world all change human development’s speed, nature, and scope. No one can hope for growth and development if the way people think about life doesn’t change. There would be no progress in society. Different things make people change. A child copies how his mother acts and keeps doing that over time. The child only knows other ways to act once they meet new people in different places. With more choices of behaviors, a child can stick to one behavior to copy or mix two or more behaviors to make a new behavior that shapes their national life.
Every person’s life is troubled and rearranged by transformational changes. It also changes the way people think about technology. When you think about how the environment affects your life, your beliefs about how you can change it comes to mind.
In conclusion, many theorists believe that social learning theory affects how people learn. People learn to act in specific ways based on their environment, while their ego and superego control their actions for others. The social learning theory allows people to model, copy, and repeat behaviors, but punishments and rewards are often used to shape behavior. Still, the theory is biased because most of Bandura’s experiments were done with one group of children and didn’t apply to all children from different socio-economic backgrounds. The fact is that how people act depends on what they do in society. The law gives criminals the harshest punishments possible, but some criminals still choose to do bad things. With this in mind, it’s safe to say that people learn their behaviors, but other things, people have the liberty to determine what to do with their lives.
