The teacher helps the students understand the subject matter by using gestures, basic tools, voice changes, position changes, and facial expressions. In this method, students are more passive and teachers are more active. Teachers often ask questions to hold the students’ attention. The lecture method is content and teacher-centered, and so it is a type of pedagogical instruction.
