  Albert Bandura, a psychologist, is credited with developing this theory. In 1961, he carried out his now-famous Bobo doll experiment, which led to the development of this theory. The investigation put Bandura’s theory of observational learning and modeling to the test, in addition to what would become known as the social learning theory. According to social learning theory, students may learn social behavior through observation and imitation of the behavior of others. Albert Bandura, a psychologist, developed social learning as an alternative to B.F. Skinner’s earlier work. Skinner is well-known for his impact on behaviorism.
  While behavioral theory focuses on how the environment and reinforcement influence behavior, Bandura proposed that individuals can learn behavior by observing others.
