GE 10 – BB“What is whole person education and multiple intelligence?”
A Reflection about An Article by KnewSTEP Education GroupAs a second-year college student studying Medical Technology, this article made me think about how whole person education and multiple intelligence strongly relate to my college life and personal growth. It talks about developing different types of smarts, not just what we learn from textbooks. While I’m learning about medical technology and the field of healthcare, these stories remind me that I should also work on understanding feelings (EQ) and getting along with others (SQ). These skills aren’t just good for my relationships but also for doing well in healthcare teams where we need to work together. This narrative furthermore talks about practical smarts. Like knowing how to handle money (FQ), which can help me with student loans and managing my expenses. They also stress how important it is to deal with emotions (EQ) in healthcare. This will not only keep me feeling good but also improve my ability to take care of patients in healthcare. In the end, these stories remind me that college is a time to grow, not just in books, but also as a person who is both nice and clever, especially in healthcare.
