Looking at this video I was able to come to a conclusion that in a health system, aside from the information that’s being circulated and stored, the way the system is financed greatly affects the whole system, especially its staff and medical equipment. In this video, because German Hospitals have prioritized the “financial aspect” of the system, the majority did not treat patients the way they should’ve as hospitals were trying to get as much as they can from them. This was mainly due to their way of getting paid by the government which is based on a diagnosis related proof meaning that the hospitals get paid more depending on the severity of the diagnosis. It is literally crazy to finally see that hospitals really do milk people. Furthermore, the video also teaches us the effect medical staff has on the hospital and how vital they are to the health system. Thus, it is only right that they get to be treated fairly and earn the compensation that they need. This video really is interesting and I believe it is a great supplement to understanding what the health system is as it showcases the effects if the system is not managed well and what interventions may be done to solve the problems that arose due to mismanagement.
