What is primary healthcare? – YouTube-
Primary health care is focused on care for people’s well-being rather than curing specific diseases. The video states that primary health care should build partnerships with other sectors such as education or social services sector in order to properly determine the care needed. I think primary health care should be improved here in the Philippines so that hospitals will not be overcrowded and specialists will not be overworked. I’ve read an article online that states that Filipinos will go directly to the hospital regardless of their symptoms being treatable through primary health care. If we improve primary health care in the Philippines, then we can ensure that more Filipinos can stay out of hospital.
