Watching all the videos I have understood some ideas about the health system. In the video of the Health system, the main core of it is prevention, the patients get the prevention and pay. As the days go by, Health care has become expensive and harder to manage. The health care workers keep up with the new diseases that need to be taken care of. Some governments do not do a great job when it comes to the health system. The government or people should take the health system seriously, health is important and we should take care of ourselves and help one another. In the Philippines, the Healthcare system works in 2 ways, the Public sector and the Private sector. The public sector is found in provinces and is universal for all citizens and faces limitations like hospitals being understaffed, lack of equipment, and facilities are old. The private sector is accessible to specialized treatment and is well equipped. The medical costs, as you know, are very expensive and according to the video, this doesn’t include doctor fees, laboratory fees, and more. That is when your health insurance comes in and this varies depending on the coverage and depends on the type of insurance you get. This is how the Philippine Healthcare system goes. And lastly, Primary Health care has helped and supported us through childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. It treats us through regular check-ups and helps us to prevent certain diseases. Providing us with vaccines and communities against diseases, to keep us healthy and strong. This video, says that it runs diagnostic tests and confirms several diagnoses in your community. I learned that we should always take care of ourselves, we need to support primary health care.
