I own both an IOS and an Android, and if I were to choose one of them, it would depend on the circumstances. I do not mind IOS’ less personalization and compatibility to other softwares due to it’s closed-system because I value its security much more. Additionally, I take more pictures in my IOS phone because it is aestheticlly better for me, personally. However, the cameras on most android phones have much better features including it’s ability to zoom farther than the iPhone, which is why I use my Samsung in cases where I need to capture photos from far away. Such closed-system phones also allows me to connect to various devices, and this is especially helpful when I want to quickly transfer school files and movies I’ve downloaded from me and my friends’ windows laptops. To conclude, having both phones allows you to access the abilities of both an open and closed system, or as what they say, you get the best of both worlds.
