1.) Which do you prefer: Apple or Android? Explain.

The two major and leading mobile operating systems monopolizing the market right now would be Apple (iOS) and Android and there is much discourse on which of the aforementioned two is simply better. Personally, if I were to choose between the two, I would have to pick Android over Apple. I have experience using both Apple/iOs (iPad) and Android but if I were to really choose between the two, I would have to choose Android mainly because it offers much more to its users compared to Apple. Some of these features would be customizability, user interface, and so on.

In terms of customizability, I would choose Android. It just offers so much freedom and flexibility which gives one the capability to pretty much do anything. Apple’s customizability is limited compared to Android. For the user interface, I prefer Apple. Personally, I find it cleaner, neater, consistent, and more seamless compared to most Android phones. As for the source model, Android is arguably better as it is open source. File transfer is also relatively easier on Android but I do find Apple’s AirDrop feature to be really easy and convenient. Another feature I feel the need to mention would be the split screen feature, which is only available on iPads while Android offers this feature on their phones as well.

Both mobile operating systems offer their own features along with their strengths and weaknesses. I enjoy using and switching between both systems. Nonetheless, there would be no definite answer on which would be the superior phone or system as it all depends on the individual such as what their priorities are, what they need, what they’re looking for, and their personal preference. Both softwares are great on their own and each has its own strengths and weaknesses and are both excellent software options for any user.
