Accuracy and precision are both terms used to describe how close a measurement or result is to the true or expected value.

Accuracy refers to how close a measurement is to the actual or expected value. It’s like hitting the bullseye in a target.

Precision refers to how consistent a set of measurements are, regardless of how close they are to the actual or expected value. It’s like hitting the same spot over and over again, even if it’s not the bullseye.

To put it simply, accuracy is about getting the right answer, while precision is about getting the same answer multiple times.
