Policy, processes, and procedures are terms that are often used interchangeably, but they have distinct meanings:

    1. Policy: A policy is a statement of principles or guidelines that outline the rules and expectations for behavior in a particular area. Policies are generally high-level and provide direction and guidance to employees. They often set the overall framework for decision-making and define the company’s stance on important issues.

    2. Processes: Processes are a series of steps or activities that are designed to achieve a specific goal. They define how work is done within an
organization, including the roles and responsibilities of the people involved, the tools and resources used, and the sequence of activities that are performed.

    3. Procedures: Procedures are detailed instructions that outline the specific steps that need to be followed to complete a particular task or activity. They are often part of a larger process and provide specific guidance on how to complete a particular step in the process.
