[ACTIVITY] Difference between policy, processes, and procedures:
Policy – a broad statement that outlines an organization’s goals, values, and expectations for specific areas of operation. It provides guidance for decision-making and sets the direction for the organization.
Processes – steps or activities that an organization uses to carry out its work. They define the sequence of tasks that need to be performed to achieve a specific outcome, and they usually involve multiple stakeholders or departments within an organization.
Procedures – specific instructions for carrying out a particular task within a process. They outline the detailed steps and actions that need to be taken to complete a task, including who is responsible, what tools or resources are needed, and what outcomes are expected.
