    Defining policy, procedures, processes
Procedures- A set of actions that is the official or accepted way of doing something.
Processes- A series of actions that you take in order to achieve a result.
Policy- A deliberate system of guidelines to guide decisions and achieve rational outcomes. A policy is a statement of intent and is implemented as a procedure or protocol.

I believe that these 3 are interrelated concepts that are crucial to the functioning of organizations. policies provide a high-level framework for decision-making, procedures provide specific instructions for how to perform tasks, and processes provide an overall approach or methodology for achieving goals or objectives. Together, these concepts provide the structure and guidance needed to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and effectively within an organization.
