Hi everyone!
Let me share some of my learning insights in MT-14 LEC and a short piece of reflection about Psalm 56:3-4.1. As an aspiring medical technologist, I realized that the creation of a lab manual has truly exposed me to the real world of clinical diagnostics. I learned the importance of careful planning, clear communication with the personnel and clients, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Through this experience, I have gained valuable insights into laboratory practices that have deepened my understanding of this field. So, making a lab manual has taught me the value of being a well-organized person, in my line of work and in everything I do. Putting together a good structure for the guide means thinking about who will use it, what we need to achieve in their scientific tasks, and which tests they are going to do. All this planning has made me better at keeping things tidy and knowing how everything should fit in neatly so that anyone can understand it easily. In the end, making a lab manual has taught me to take patient care and safety seriously. Being a med tech student means putting patients first by sticking to standard procedures and ensuring high-quality work. I’ve learned that it’s crucial for us as lab professionals to follow policies that prioritize precision, dependability, and ethical behavior. By doing so, we can make sure doctors have accurate info they need for diagnoses or deciding on treatments – this is why, what we do is really important.
2. Psalm 56:3-4 – “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
When we’re going through tough times and unsure about what’s to come, let’s take a cue from this verse. Instead of giving in to fear, we can rely on God’s nature and the things He promises us. I am empowered knowing that everything is under His command and that He’ll assist me no matter what happens. I am reminded that our subjective/objective faith grows stronger when we put our trust in Him during difficult times. Everytime I get overwhelmed from things, I get this suffocation and lump on my throat that doesn’t allow me to breathe — because my mind traps itself in a small cage and thinks of myself so small, I easily get shaken — but because of this verse, I’m reminded that God has my back no matter what type of shifts happens in my life and that people with ill-will can no longer hurt me, because God’s plans are pure and they are from love. I am able to change my perspective everytime I come across this verse.
