GE 10- DD WPE
This subject is a great and safe space to learn since we are not viewed as a student but an individual. The core of the subject is the person’s ability to learn to know themselves and that person would also be able to learn from others as this subject also relies on a holistic approach to teaching and learning, one that links empathy and concern for others, moral and ethical guidance, and appreciation for others. The approach sees the mind/body split as largely artificial and is interested in enhancing the individual’s ability to take increasing personal responsibility for their own wellbeing. Nonetheless, I believe that WPE is vital to a student’s curriculum before they finish college as they would be able to apply their learning whether it may be;academically, emotionally and spritually to real life experiences.
