📌 Is Apple (🍎) better than Android (🤖) ? My biased opinion. 🌚☕️

    • iOS (Apple) vs. Android (Majority of Smartphone brands)

As a person who has both Android and iOS, I chose iOS devices because of its hardware and software. The chassis and screen of modern iPhones are made out of ceramic shields and OLED displays that are known to be better than the ones in Androids. The camera system and quality of iOS devices are known to be the best than the competing Android devices. Also, the chipsets of older iPhones, especially the newly released compete with modern Androids, and their benchmark is still relevant and usable. The software support of Apple for their devices is also longer than Androids or even Samsung’s flagship devices, counting over five years of software update support. Additionally, I can play graphics-heavy games more smoothly on my iPhone than on my Android because of the optimization of iOS devices. Furthermore, the price of iOS devices does not depreciate significantly over the year, and it is hard to prove that it is of high quality since a lot of people still have old iPhones, such as the iPhone XS Max, and their prices are competing with the new mid-range devices of other android brands. You can still see a lot of people having an iPhone 7 Plus than having a Samsung S7 Plus, which is the flagship other counterpart.

Advantages and disadvantages of both devices:

As previously said, iOS, Apple’s mobile operating system, offers benefits such as solid security, seamless hardware-software interaction, a rich app ecosystem, user-friendly design, regular upgrades, and a dedication to user privacy. However, it has restrictions such as limited customization, a closed environment, higher pricing, restricted interoperability with non-Apple devices, and some user reliance on Apple’s software for specific functions, as well as a rigid app approval process and hardware repair issues. Individual interests and priorities influence the decision between iOS and other mobile operating systems.

      Meanwhile,

Android, as a mobile operating system, has multiple benefits, including comprehensive customization potential, a wide range of device alternatives at various price points, an open ecosystem that allows for app sideloading, and widespread interoperability with non-Android devices and services. It also has a diverse set of hardware features and settings. However, Android confronts issues such as fragmentation, in which different device makers may fail to offer timely upgrades, resulting in possible security risks and inconsistent user experiences. Furthermore, the open environment can occasionally lead to a larger risk of viruses, and the user experience may not be as consistent as iOS. Finally, the versatility and diversity of Android make it appealing to a wide range of consumers, but it does need some technical knowledge to navigate properly.
