The Rolando Villanueva del Carmen Honor Hall, unveiled on March 15, serves as a coeducational residence designed to cultivate academic excellence and provide support to students who demonstrate exceptional scholastic performance. Generously donated by the distinguished 1982 Outstanding Sillimanian Awardee in Education, after whom it is named, this two-story dormitory accommodates 28 honor students each semester. The dormitory’s thoughtful layout is geared towards fostering intellectual endeavors, nurturing leadership skills, and promoting engagement in community service, offering conducive spaces for coursework and collaborative academic pursuits.

On the ground floor, residents can benefit from expansive areas designed for dining, research activities, group studies, and various co-curricular engagements. The second floor houses 14 air-conditioned rooms for double occupancy, each complete with a shared toilet and bath facility. Additionally, a dedicated unlimited internet connection is provided to ensure seamless connectivity for all residents. Admission to the Honor Hall is a prestigious opportunity extended to academically exceptional students, providing a comprehensive board and lodging scholarship or subsidy to eligible candidates who maintain a minimum Quality Point Average (QPA) of 3.30 and uphold high academic standards, among other criteria. Interested students are encouraged to submit their applications through the Student Scholarship and Aid Division for consideration.
