The Silliman University Medical School (SUMS) functions as an academic division within Silliman University (SU), a privately owned establishment situated in Dumaguete, Philippines. Its establishment on March 20, 2004, initially involved conducting classes in a two-story annex adjacent to the Angelo King Allied Medical Sciences Center on the SU campus. However, in 2013, it underwent relocation to a newly constructed building. Despite being a relatively recent addition to the medical education landscape, SUMS has garnered considerable achievements. Its inaugural batch graduated in 2009, and the first cohort of graduates who undertook the physician board exams in 2010 recorded an exceptional 100% pass rate. This success persisted, with the classes of 2011 and 2012 also achieving flawless pass percentages. The school maintains a close affiliation with the Silliman University Medical Center.
