The vision statement is usually an organization’s declaration of the long-term goals that they wish to achieve while the mission statement typically encompasses the short-term goals that the organization aims to integrate as an approach to achieve their primary vision. While these two terms are entirely different, it is essential that there should be no superiority between them. Instead, they should work hand-in-hand to achieve the organizations maximum potential. The foundation of a strong vision is built upon the success of an entity’s mission.
