How does Nephron work?

A nephron, the kidney’s smallest functional unit, filters blood, excretes waste, and regulates water levels. Comprising a tubule and renal corpuscular capsule, it filters fluid through the glomerulus. The filtrate undergoes alteration through secretion and selective reabsorption, resulting in urine.
