This video shows what happens inside a person’s body that has a coronary artery disease. Now, how do we prevent this and how can we manage LDL and HDL?

    Keep Your Heart Happy:

    Eat Good Stuff:
    – Fill your plate with fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean meats. Cut back on the fatty and salty foods.
    – Choose good fats like olive oil, avocados, and nuts.

    Move Around:
    – Get at least 30 minutes of decent exercise most days. That could be a brisk walk or anything that gets you moving.
    – Don’t forget to do some strength training a couple of times a week.

    Watch Your Weight:
    – Try to keep your weight in a healthy range. It’s good for your heart.

    Kick the Habit:
    – Smoking is rough on your heart. Quitting is tough but seriously worth it.

    Easy on the Booze:
    – If you drink, do it in moderation. That’s one drink a day for women, two for men.

    Keeping Cholesterol in Check:

    Bad Cholesterol (LDL):
    – If your doctor thinks it’s needed, they might prescribe meds like statins to lower LDL.
    – Eat less bad fats, more fiber, and move your body.

    Good Cholesterol (HDL):
    – Have some healthy fats like olive oil, fish, and nuts.
    – Exercise is a champ at boosting your HDL. Shoot for 30 minutes most days.

    Smart Choices:
    – Quit smoking to help your HDL levels.
    – If you’re into alcohol, go easy. Too much isn’t great for your heart.

Remember, before making any big changes, chat with your doc. They can give you the lowdown based on your health.
