Histology art is the creation of artistic images and/or illustrations based on microscopic examinations of tissues and cells. Histology is broadly defined as the study of the microscopic anatomy of tissues and cells, which frequently involves the use of specialized staining methods to improve the visibility of structures within the cell. Furthermore, medical illustrators and other artists in the medical field may use these observations to inspire visually appealing representations of similar structures.
