WHY IS HISTOLOGY IMPORTANT?

Have you ever wondered what’s visible in our body structures if we are to look at it closely? How does it look like? Are there patterns? How does it function? Well, this is where histology enters the picture. Histology gives us a microscopic view of our tissues which helps people in the medical field to learn more about the tissues’ cellular makeup and how it affects its function. If we are to examine tissue samples under a microscope, it is more easier for us to diagnose diseases, understand their development, and come up with treatment strategies that would help the sick to recover as soon as possible.
