ART MEETS SCIENCE (Histology Art)

A combination of histology and aesthetic; that is how I would describe histology art. Upon looking at the example outputs of our seniors, I can say that it is a way of expressing histology in a creative way through visual imagery and there are no rules to follow. One is free to interpret his understanding and make an artistic interpretation to further showcase the beauty of the human body and the natural world. The purpose of such aside from artistic expression is to also engage students and the public in learning about cell biology and tissues in a captivating and informative way. Given that most of the people nowadays are visual learners, this can make the subject or the topic more interesting to the public.

I attached a video below of an example wherein the person made a histology mural. It looks very cool!!
