What is histology?

According to Hussein et. al. (2015), histology is the science that provides the adequate learning of the tissue organization of the body and is a fundamental part of medical education.

Why is histology important?

Histology is an important field of study because it allows for visualization on what normal tissues look like, its structure and characteristics in order to detect changes or malformations when viewed under the microscope. This is particularly relevant for the clinical diagnosis of medical technologists.

What is Histology art?

Histology art for me is the intertwined fate of art meets human tissues. It is a fun avenue of learning and appreciating the beauty of tissues in artistic lens. It allows room for creativity, proving that learning can be fun at times.
