The Nervous Tissue makes up the different parts which constitute the nervous system. Comprising both the Central Nervous System and the Peripheral Nervous System, the nervous tissue is made up of specialized cells called neurons. These neurons are essential in maintaining homeostasis and other bodily functions as they transmit electrical siignals for communication within the body.
