Shown below is a microscopic view of a frog’s spinal cord tissue where sensory impulses are transmitted to the brain and is processed and interpreted. In this area, neurons in the spinal cord function as sensory information conduits, and neuroglia give vitality to the appropriate conduct.

Also shown below is a sympathetic ganglion which has a function of regulating reflex activity, especially when a person is under stress. Within the ganglion, numerous neurons collaborate to produce prompt and flexible responses to the stimuli, making the organism ready for immediate reactions to its surrounding obstacles.
