The circulatory system, also called the cardiovascular system, is like a delivery system in our body. It uses the heart and blood vessels to move blood around. This blood carries oxygen and nutrients to all parts of the body, helping muscles, organs, and tissues work properly.
At the same time, the circulatory system helps get rid of waste products like carbon dioxide from breathing and other leftover stuff from our organs and food. It does this by circulating blood to the lungs to get rid of carbon dioxide and then back to the heart to start the process again.
In simple terms, the circulatory system keeps everything in our body healthy by delivering good stuff and taking away the bad stuff. It’s like a busy highway system, making sure everything gets where it needs to go.
