CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
The circulatory system is a system composed of the heart, blood, and blood vessels. Its main purpose is to transport nutrients, respiratory gases, and metabolic products throughout an organism, allowing various tissues to co-opt. Transportation of nutrients is done through fluids, such as blood and lymph, transmitted through a networks of vessels which allow these fluids to reach their utmost specialization and elaboration in the human body.
