MT30 (lec) – CCNervous tissue produces and conducts nerve impulses enabling electrical usage for the communication of cells to coordinate with all parts of the body. As the tissue forms an intricate network of the nervous system, the underlying neurons are divided into three parts the cell body serves as the central part which conveys the general function. Moreover, dendrites are the ones that carry these impulses to the body as the axon takes these impulses away from the cell body. Thus, it regulates the human body’s consciousness, responses to the external environment, emotions, memory, and logical reasoning.
