    ACTIVITY 2C (Muscle Tissues)
The cells that have the capability to shorten or contract in order to produce movement of the body parts are what composes the muscle tissue. This tissue is highly cellular and is well supplied with blood vessels. Muscle cells are sometimes known as muscle fibers due to their long and slender nature and these are usually arranged in bundles or layers that are surrounded by connective tissue. And, the contractile proteins in muscle tissue are actin and myosin.
