MT 30 (LAB)- BACTIVITY 2D (Nervous Tissues)
Nervous tissues are composed of neurons or nerve cells that generate and conduct impulses. These cells have three primary parts which are the dendrites, cell body, and one axon. The cell body is the main part of the cell that carries on the general functions. Dendrites are extensions, or processes, of the cytoplasm that carry impulses to the cell body. And, an extension or process that carries impulses away from the cell body is called an axon.Reference/s:
