MT 30 (LAB) – B📍Muscle Tissues
📍Striated Muscle
Striated muscle tissue is a muscle tissue that features repeating functional units called sarcomeres. The presence of sarcomeres manifests as a series of bands visible along the muscle fibers, which is responsible for the striated appearance observed in microscopic images of this tissue.📍Mammal Striated Muscle
Striated muscles are muscles in our bodies that have a striped appearance. This striped appearance is due to these muscles’ light and dark bands which appear in an alternate fashion. Skeletal muscles are a type of striated muscles which are voluntary in nature.
