2. The small intestine is located inside your lower abdominal cavity beneath the stomach. Its function is to digest food further coming from the stomach.
3. The stomach is located in the upper left quadrant of your abdominal cavity and its function is to store food.
4. Liver secretes bile.
5. Jejunum is the middle portion of your small intestine and is responsible for the further digestion of food.
6. The tongue is located on the floor of your mouth. It is responsible for assisting during mastication and swallowing.
9. The large intestine has three parts; ascending colon, descending colon, and rectum. It is responsible for most of the water absorption and the formation of stool.
10. The appendix is attached below the ascending colon’s caecum. Its function is to store good microbes in the gut.
