The Circulatory System

The circulatory system, or cardiovascular system, comprising the heart (cardio) and blood vessels (vascular), functions to deliver oxygen, essential nutrients, and hormones to muscles, tissues, and organs throughout the body. It also supplies blood to all the tissues of the body so they can carry out their functions properly. And, it aids in the elimination of cellular and organ wastes so that it can facilitate the body in its disposal process.
