Good day, everyone!! Attached below is a picture of my Activity 6 (Urinary Tissues). This also includes a brief description:

Urinary bladder: The urinary bladder is a balloon-shaped organ in your lower abdomen that stores urine until you can empty it when you pee (National Institutes of Health, n.d.)
Frog kidney section: A slice of a frog’s kidney reveals tiny filtering units called nephrons. These nephrons remove waste products from the frog’s blood and make urine (National Institutes of Health, 2016)
Ureter mammal section: The ureters are thin tubes that carry urine from each kidney to the bladder. If you looked at a section under a microscope, you’d see smooth muscle that helps squeeze the urine along (National Library of Medicine, 2022)
Human ureter c.s.: A cross-section of a human ureter shows three layers: a tough outer layer, a muscular middle layer that pushes urine down, and a lining layer that protects the ureter from the urine’s flow (Innerbody, 2013)
