Muscle tissues consist of cells that are capable of contracting to generate movement (external and internal). They are highly cellular and abundantly supplied with blood vessels. The contractile proteins present in this tissue type are actin and myosin. The three classifications of muscles are skeletal, smooth, and cardiac muscles.
Portrayed tissues: 🎨
Smooth muscles (1) are spindle-shaped, have one nucleus, and are involuntary. They are found on the walls of internal organs.
Cardiac muscles (3) are branched and striated, have one nucleus, and are involuntary. They are found in the heart.
Lastly, we have the skeletal muscles (2 & 4), which are striated, multinuclear, and voluntary muscles. They are found in the voluntary muscles in our body (e.g., biceps).
