What I know about Nervous System:
Signals are sent from the brain to the internal organs and the rest of the body through the nervous system. Thus, the activity of the nervous system regulates the capacity to move, breathe, see, think, and more. A nerve cell, or neuron, is the fundamental building block of the nervous system.

Every element of your health is affected by your nervous system, including:
    – feelings, memories, learning, and thoughts
    – actions, including coordinated and balanced movements
    – senses, including the way your mind processes information from your taste
    – touch, hearing, and sight
    – Rest, recovery, and aging
    – respiration and heart rate patterns
    – reaction to tense circumstances
    – digestion, as well as your level of hunger and thirst
    – physiological processes like puberty.

The nervous system includes the central nervous system (CNS) and the peripheral nervous system (PNS). The CNS, made up of the brain and spinal cord, processes information and issues commands. The PNS connects the CNS to the rest of the body and is divided into the somatic system, controlling voluntary movements, and the autonomic system, regulating involuntary functions like heart rate and digestion. The autonomic system has two parts: the sympathetic system, which prepares the body for action, and the parasympathetic system, which calms the body.
