MT30 A (LAB)Activity 2B: CONNECTIVE TISSUE 🔬
❕Connective tissue is a group of tissues in the body that maintain the form of the body and its organs, providing cohesion and internal support.
❕Hyaline cartilage is a type of connective tissue found in various parts of the human body. It is the most abundant type of cartilage in the body. It provides support and flexibility to different parts of the body allowing for movement and maintaining the shape of their structures.
❕Blood is a fluid connective tissue that is composed of plasma, RBCs, WBCs, and platelets. It is essential for maintaining overall health and well-being, most importantly for oxygen transport.
❕Adipose tissue is a specialized connective tissue composed primarily of fat cells called adipocytes. The main role of adipose tissue is to store excess energy in the form of lipids (fats).
❕Bone are rigid organs that form the skeletal system, providing structure, protection, movement, and storage for the human body.
