Activity 7: RESPIRATORY SYSTEM 🔬

❕Respiratory system facilitates the exchange of gases between the environment and the bloodstream. It supplies the body with oxygen and remove carbon dioxide.

❕Bronchiole is a small airway in the respiratory tract and is responsible for conducting air to the alveoli, where gas exchange occurs.

❕Epiglottis seals off the windpipe during eating to prevent food from being accidentally inhaled into the lungs.

❕Trachea also known as the windpipe, transporta air in and out of the lungs during breathing.

❕Lungs facilitate the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between the air and the bloodstream, carrying it to the body’s cells for energy production.
